Industrial Engineering Department:

We have a strong “Industrial Engineering Department” committed to implementing the latest Lean manufacturing practice. The team is responsible for overall capacity planning and work balancing for the different production team by using standard minute value (SMVs) for each process used in assembling a product. The team is able to accurately estimate the cost and time for manufacturing a particular style which helps to reduce uncertainties and down time. The team also keep tracks of all inputs and work in-progress (WIP) through the production teams ensuring a steady process flow and improving

efficiency and quality of the production of the organization.

 

GSD Production System:

We have established General Sewing Data (GSD) production system to provide best service in term of Price & Quality.

 

Lean Production Department:

We have a strong “Lean Production Department”. Its main objective is eliminating wastage. We use modern concept such as 5’S, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Kaizen, TIM WOOD etc. It helps us to improve productivity and efficiency in overall garment factory. We use supply chain lean concept that helps us to reduce lead time and ensure on-time shipment.

 

Quality Control & Assurance Department:

It is a team which is responsible to fuM-fiM buyer’s requirement. We have a skilled & experienced quality control and assurance team. The team works together for implementation and continual improvement of Total Quality Management (TQM) in order to achieve satisfaction of our internal and external customers.

 

Lab & Fabric Inspection Section:

We have decorated our Lab with modern and high efficient equipments and machines to ensure in house testing parameter demanded by customer. Moreover we ensure fabric quality by fabric technician and inspector before issuing fabric to cutting section.

 

Store & Warehouse Section:

We have store and warehouse with modern technology & equipments and skilled manpower that are responsible for proper inventory and to support supply-chain management for high productivity through proper racking process. We use ERP software to enhance the capacity and function of this section.

 

CAD and Pattern Section:

It is designed by modern Garber technology. Manpower of this section are highly skilled to support production team, sample section as well as our honorable customers and buyers.

 

Embroidery Section:

It is designed by modern technology with Brand New Japan made BARUDAN machine, 20 Head X 2 & 6 Head X1 Machine is running and another 20 Head X 2 Machine will be setup very shortly.

 

Sample Section:

This section is fully equipped with latest machines and skilled sample men who are contributing in the progress of the company making samples on time by understanding buyer’s requirement.

 

Cutting Section:

Our cutting section is equipped with modern and latest automation machineries to achieve high efficiency in industrial production.

 

Sewing Section:

Our production team Lead by our factory GM, who is very skilled to achieve buyer’s required quality and production target. All manpower of production team take care your product as a baby to minimize wastage and rejection percentage. The slogan of this team is- “Right Product on Right Time”

  5. Medical Facilities: The workers enjoy free health care benefits and Medicare services. We have a qualified Doctor who visits our factory every working day of week and two staff nurses who are always engaged to provide medical services to our workers and staffs.
  6. First Aid Policy: For every 150 workers we have two persons trained in First Aid and Medicare. We keep certain quantity of First Aid equipments in a First Aid Box in each floor for employees to use as First Aid.
  7. Workers Accommodation Facility: The Company provides free accommodation for both male and female workers nearby factory building.
  8. Accommodation for staffs: The Company provides family quarters, bachelor quarters with dining facility beside factory building. Moreover we have also dormitory facility and guest room facilities.
  9. Dining facility for workers: We have 12,000 Square feet dining space for workers with canteen & prayer room facility.
  10. Power Unit: We have own gas generator plant with 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply. So, we can say that we are free from the course of load shading and we can supply goods on time without fail.
  11. Transport Line: We have own transport facility for goods handover and cargo delivery.

Green Factory

SILVER LINE GROUP has it’s factories on 70 acres of land at Monipur, Near Mirzapur, Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh and this is a certified green factory. Silver Line factories have greenery in every corner of the factory.

Beside that consumption of electricity in the factories is 350 kilowatt per hour for the 283,280-square-metre with 8 factory buildings. Usually, 550-kilowatt electricity is needed to run such a big production house.

However, SILVER LINE is making it in less than 200kw by adopting green technology. The factory which started operation in mid-2013 uses sunlight during production hours. Silver Line does not face any problem in doing finer works like sewing or fixing small needles in the machines as there is enough sunlight in the factory. Silver Line saves up to 35 percent electricity by using natural light.

SILVER LINE has 38 percent less carbon emission and spared 64 percent space around the factory located on 70 acres of land as per the requirements of green technologies.

The factory produces 65kw electricity from its solar panels and also reuses the dyeing water by recycling it at effluent treatment plants.

In Bangladesh, Silver Line is one of the highest rated green garment factories. We believe that our green factory not only to save energy, water and environment but also to offer a safe workplace. In the green initiatives, our factory also have school, childcare, medical center, worker quarter and recreation facilities and training programs for workers.
Our international buyers are very satisfied with our green initiative. We hope that green initiatives adopted by our factory will help Bangladesh brighten the image of the country as well as the garment sector.
